Karen Cotter

An OBU nursing graduate herself, Karen Cotter teaches all levels of nursing classes. She is the sponsor of OBU's chapter of Student Nurses Association. She is also an active member of the Oklahoma Nurses Association and involved with the Workplace Advocacy Task Force.

Dr. Claudine Dickey retired from OBU as Dean of the College of Nursing in 1999. Dr. Dickey returned to OBU as an occasional adjunct faculty and, more recently, as a regular faculty in the Master of Science in Nursing program.

He has received the United States Air Force Meritorious Service Medal along with the United States Air Force Commendation Medal three times. His Air Force duties included serving as flight crew member of B-52 bombers, operations officer strategic training range, executive officer, and staff engineer.

Dr. Robbie Henson, RN
Associate Professor of Nursing
Dr. Robbie Henson has clinical experience in a wide range of specialties including medical-surgical nursing, intensive care nursing, and postpartum and labor and delivery nursing. In 1996, she received both the Oklahoma Nurse Educator of the Year award from the Oklahoma Nurses’ Association and the Promising Teacher Award from OBU.

Having been with the Graduate School since 2011, Lana Melton has a long connection with the university which spans over three decades. She is an OBU graduate who is highly involved in her church, having served many years in both music and preschool/children's ministry. Lana has also served in the ministry of Hope Pregnancy Center.
